Slalom Beanie
A soft and warm beanie that’s dual sided
A soft and warm, reversible cabled knit hat. This pattern is written to give you a few options when knitting your Slalom Beanie. You can simply knit the cable beanie, or you can use a provisional cast on to knit the beanie and make it reversible in two ways. For the second layer of the beanie you can choose to repeat the slalom pattern, or knit a simple beanie as a liner for your hat. Feel free to mix up the colors or make it all in the same shade – it’s totally up to you!
This hat was inspired by the much loved Apres Ski Hat, which is knit out of a thicker yarn – I wanted to be able to use a lighter weight yarn and offer a reversible option.
