This fun cabled hat uses an eight round repeat to form a beautiful hat that’s bursting with personality. This hat was originally launched as the Brigitte hat but I loved it so much that I kept this one for myself. Now that I’ve revamped the pattern, I’ve renamed it! After 7 years of knitting its about time that I give my name to something.
What’s in the Maggie’s Hat Knitting Pattern?
The cuff of the hat can be made shorter or longer for a folded brim. The pattern contains instructions on how to knit edge to the hat as you go so that you aren’t always adjusting the folded brim. This pattern also contains written instructions and breaks down the abbreviations for easy to follow instruction.
Maggie’s Hat knitting pattern is great for just about any lady in your life! With three different sizes included in one pattern, you can actually knit it for just about any woman in your life. Knit with worsted weight yarn, and taking about a skein to knit, this hat is a great stash buster. You’ll need US Size 5 and 7 knitting needles, but you also have the option of just using US Size 5 which makes for a tighter knit and a warmer hat.
