Knitting hats for kids and babies is really fun. They’re quick knits that give you a sense of accomplishment, and they look adorable. Each pattern here is designed with kids that I know and love in mind. So I try to make sure that they’re not just adorable, but comfortable and wearable too.
That means the kids and babies in your life will love them. The yarns are selected to be soft yet washable, and durable. There’s nothing worse (in my humble opinion) than giving a gift that’s hard to take care of. Kids will often take their hat off and accidentally drop it…on places like the bus floor.
These hats are also designed to be functional. Hats for kids and babies are only as good as they are warm. If they’re just for show, they won’t get much use.
