Brigitte Hat Pattern
Merry Christmas! Get the Brigitte Hat Pattern for you or someone you love!
If you’ve stopped by this pattern page before, you might have noticed that this pattern was available for free. Recently, I’ve converted my free patterns over to an online pattern store. This enables me to continue knitting, to automate the delivery of patterns, and more! I’m so thankful that you’ve found the Brigitte Hat Pattern and hope that you’ll love it as much as I do.
This is without a doubt one of my favorite hats, both to wear and to knit. I plan on gifting a few versions of this girl this year to friends and family. It’s just that much fun to knit.
By simply using cables to bring stitches forward and backward at different times, you can create a stunningly textured hat. The texture also makes this hat perfect for yarns in vibrant colors.
Are you looking for a fun hat to knit, that looks amazing?
The Brigitte Beanie has a unique texture, derived from the honeycomb cable. All it takes, is taking two stitches to the back and the front at different times.
As with all of my patterns, there are no charts to decipher in the Brigitte Beanie and the instructions are clearly written out! The pattern is also written so that you can edit it or amend it to your needs.
What does that mean? Shorten it, and opt to forgo a pompom for more of a skullcap/hat look and less of a beanie feel. Or, by adjusting the number of stitches you can easily achieve the perfect fit.
