Brick Washcloth
A simple Geometric knitting pattern that reflects masonry, the brick washcloth.
In the past couple of posts, I’ve been talking about how I’ve been nesting a good bit. And I’ve also been sharing updates on our new kitchen project. We’ve installed butcher block counter tops and a tile back splash. My favorite part was the farm house sink and new faucet…which is mounted directly into the wooden counter top.
Yes we are sealing the counters with mineral oil, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to be okay with standing water. In order to be able to clean up the water, I’m making a series of cotton wash cloths, and sharing the patterns here with you.
This brick washcloth pattern is one of my favorites. It alternates simple purl stitches to create an almost brick like look. It’s a sweet little texture that looks great in cotton yarn.
