8 Sheep Organics
Is good for no one…and I’ve found the secret to sound sleep while pregnant.
As we found out withe Double Seed Stitch Baby Blanket launch, which resulted in at least three follow up emails from yours truly, sleep deprived knitting is good for no one.
With the help of an army of amazing test knitters, and a new product that I’ve fallen in love with, we have escaped this revision nightmare and successfully released the Andalusian Baby Blanket! Hurray!
What is this mysterious new sleep aid? 8 Sheep Organics!
Well it turns out that there is nothing: mysterious, fake, synthetic, chemical, or processed about it. 8 Sheep Organics makes a Magnesium infused lavender sleep lotion that is divine.
The Magnesium helps melt away pain, tension, and those pesky restless legs.
The organic lavender, sends sleep the most beautiful invitation, so that it comes without delay each time you use it.
When you’re pregnant, you’re very conscious about what you ingest or put on your body. There is a good chance that something harmful can and will affect your growing baby. That’s why this cream is all natural and only made from ingredients that are safe and proven to work. It’s also the only of its kind.
Seriously, I got my hands on an 8 ounce jar of this stuff and it’s like magic. I know I’m only 11 weeks into my pregnancy and I’m not at the super uncomfortable stage yet, but sleep is still sometimes illusive. Add in the knitting and my shoulders are tired and sore. Account for the fact that your body does some weird things when your uterus expands and you’ve got lower back pain. And I’ve had restless legs before getting pregnant.
This lotion is thick without being oily. It absorbs quickly into your skins o you aren’t making your sheets gross. And the scent doesn’t hit you over the head like some other products. In fact, it’s kind of like washing your sheets in the smell…it just envelops you.
You can get some for yourself here.
Not pregnant? This lotion, their tea or their pillow spray would make an epic gift for a mama to be in your life. Seriously. Take my word on this one. There’s no longer a zombie walking around our house sewing pants on the wrong side, trying to make tea ineffectually, or worst of all, sleep deprived knitting.
Postpartum Update: Still Using the Magnesium Sleep Lotion
Fynn is now two and a half months old and I’m still using this lotion to calm restless legs. While the majority of the sensations have gone away with the birth of my son, there are still some nights where it keeps me awake. I simply reach for this little jar of magic and a few minutes after using the cream the restlessness has subsided.
I recommend this product to all of my pregnant friends, hands down, 100%.
